more. the jason david deal is one of the worst ever, and they can't seem to find a good mix in the secondary. but they have made some free agent deals/trades that have been good. it's a lot easier to look at a player's nfl production and project into the future than it is to evaluate young talent in the draft.

I'm not so concerned on the offensive side of the ball.

Maybe so. But Free Agency is dangerous, too. I trust my team much more in the draft than in FA.
I think the trick is that the high end free agents don't usually pay off, but it is a great way to fill roster spots and lower profile positions. I guess goal-line back probably fits that bill.
Reggie 30 carries? I don't think so. I'm as big a Reggie fan as anyone, but he is not a 30 carry back. Not even close. 25 touches a game would be reasonable, but not 30 carries. No one in the NFL gets (deserves) 30 carries/game these days, especially with a quarterback like Brees (and the Saints porous defense). I would say 10-15 carries, 6-10 receptions/game. Personally I would rather Pierre get the bulk of the carries, and allow Reggie to catch the ball and work more in space
If I'm the Saints I don't draft a single offensive player...
Everything should be geared to improving the defense and you shore up the offense through trades and mid-level FA's....
