Yes, please don't blame Obama! Ha, ha, ha! The same assholes that have been on here for the past 3 or 4 years blaming Bush for EVERYTHING now have the tables turned on them and are already crying like little girls not even a month into his presidency. Better enjoy it while it's still somewhat tame, ladies. It's just gonna get worse.

    Cheers!

Your nutts if you don't think this is Pelosi and Reed's bill first and now Obama's. Those few GOP governors, that might be for it, would not have even had a chance to read it yet. But I could care less if some of them did as they would just be trying to cover their arse per wanting some of the fed dollars. They make me as sick as do those 3 traitor GOP US Senators that voted for this pork ridden spending bill. Oh.. and Wall Street and global Markets hate it as well.

Mildawg is such a ****-up asshole that he has a hard time figuring out every morning which sock to put on first. The poor guy still can understand why the republicans lost control of the Congress AND the White House. All those arse kissing republican leaders can do these days is appear on Fix News and play footsie with Hannity.

Mildawg is soooooo happy being an overpaid federal worker.

Except Jindal, maybe. Which puts Tech in an awkward position. But what is a governor to do? Should a governor refuse to accept the money and let someone else have it (standing on principle) or should he take it? Really, what do you expect the state governors to do?

Well, Tyler, you are certainly entitled to your opinion although I think you under-estimate Obama's political skill. Getting 14 REPUBLICAN governors to shake your hand and say JOB WELL DONE is something to write home about. Yes, it all about the federal dollars BUT their arse would have been COOKED if not for Obama's leadership.

Those 14 REPUBLICAN governors think that their fellow republicans in Congress are out-to-lunch and a bunch of namby-pandies.

He is also supposed to deliver the Republican response. He seems to be campaigning more than governing these days.

hah! even I know that one...

the left sock goes on the left foot, and the right one goes on the foot that does not already have a sock! Am I right?

Oh, wait...you said which one to put on first. Now, I'm confused.

Has the guy really functioned as a politician yet to earn the label of having political skill? He's done nothing but run for an office his whole life and did nothing more than vote present when finally getting the job. "Obama's political skill", I don't think so. Now he did run a winning national campaign. I'll give him that one. Nothing more!

It won't. It is just another temporary fix that will not get you as high as the first stimulus. You will need to keep coming back for more but never get anywhere at addressing our need for the stimulus.

    1. Because when Bush took over from Clinton he could have continued the balance budget that Clinton left him. It was a lost opportunity. The republicans in control of both Congress and the WH. If we had had 8 years of balanced budgets I doubt that the democrats would be back in control.

Today, with the country staring a major recession in the face, Obama has no choice concerning even bigger deficit spending.

    3. Bush appointed the people who supervised Wall Street and the big banks.

    4. He did re-appoint Greenspan. But the treasury has ways to lessen the impact of what the Fed does if it wants to use them.

    5. He didn't focus on the important stuff.
