Can I count the Abbey Road medley?
"Norwegian Wood" from the Rubber Soul album is one song that I could have written. When I first heard it I was a senior in HS in 1965 or 1966. I had just experienced some of the events in the song, including the girl, wine, and sleeping in the bathtub, and she was gone the next morning. No, I didn't light a fire.
This is just one of my favorites. It was the first one that came to mind.
There is a book called Norwegian Wood by a Japanese author that I have looked at several times in the book store and never been interested enough to buy. I think it is named that because it is either the author's or the main character's favorite song.
As for the song, the first line is great but it heads downhill after that.

I was just thinking about that as I was typing. Our library has an online catalog - yep, here it is. Maybe I'll reserve it.
Norwegian Wood
Hard to pick one song, but I prefer the Beatles during their later more hallucinogenic years.
Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”

not a huge fan of the beatles. i enjoy listening to them from time to time, but the word "best" just doesn't fit with any beatles song that i can think of.
i like "help" and "hey bulldog," and i enjoy the beatles' version of "twist and shout."
i also like u2's "stealing back" of helter skelter.
