And why?
I'm a Stones guy. Not that I don't love the Beatles, but I guess the Beatles were never "dangerous" enough for me. Kind of like the difference between Van Halen with Dave and VH with Sammy.

The Beatles never became dangerous. They became hippies. That said I think they were much more creative than The Stones while The Stones were edgier with a harder sound.
Both great, but I prefer the Beatles.
............And I prefer Led Zeppelin to both of them.
Depends what type of move I'm in -
I really like the Stones earlier work with Brain Jones much more so than early Beatles -
However, the Stones really didn't do any "relevant" work since the Jones era - and their music never really matured and developed -

On my 1 to 10 greatness scale with 10 being great, the Beatles get a 10. The Stones get a 9.5.
I'm weird...I like the early Beatles best...then the stoned Beatles, then, maybe, the Stones. Like BD said, if you want "dangerous", look no further than LZ!

No contest. The Beatles in a landslide.

Beatles. Because they're the Beatles.
Siegfred or Roy?

“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”
Beatles all the way. Stones, other than few songs, never really did anything for me. Stones usually had a great rock and roll sound but never varied in the music enough to keep my interest. The Beatles on the other hand produced great rock and roll and then went on to invent many new sounds most of which I cherish. In inginuity alone the Beatles far supassed the Stones IMHO.

Beatles... Never could really listen to anything by the Stones.
Pink floyd!
Pink Floyd has put out some great tunes! The music I listen to consists of 50's through 70's rock/pop with some newer stuff when I find anything that has a melody or a good rock sound. I also throw in some acustic mainly latin and a little new age if it is good. There are some variations on that but it is all just good listening to me. A lot of Beatles in the mix. I particularly like the I Am Sam soundtrack as it has a lot of Beatles tunes done very well by newer artists.

Prefer the Who to both of them (but big fan of Zep and Floyd as well), but to choose between the two of them, I would take the Stones. However, I really don't care for much of their stuff after the early to mid 70's.
that's like asking chuck or round. you're leaving out the brisket, rib, sirloin, tenderloin, etc.
i prefer the chuck (stones) over the round (beatles) but neither compares to the tenderloin (led zeppelin).
