Most of the teams had winning records. The Big Ten had more teams that struggled OOC, and I imagine the unbalanced schedule does weird things to them, too.
They put 6 of 8 in bowls and came out with a 4-2 record.

North
New Hampshire 10-3
Maine 8-5

James Madison 12-2
Villinova 10-3
Richmond 13-3
William & Mary 7-4
Delaware 4-7
Towson 3-9
Richmond was the FCS champ this year. JMU won a few years ago. There are at least 5-6 teams that could compete for the Sunbelt Conference title and probably 4 of them would have won it.
The sad thing is think how good the Colonial conference would be in basketball if Richmond and Villanova played basketball there. They already have George Mason, VCU, and ODU.
Just do it.
