GO TECHSTERS!!!
You gotta love how Idaho and Fresno are on the same side of the bracket.
Can somebody please tell me how LA Tech ended up with the #2 seed, instead of #1? I thought our recent victory over Fresno St --on their home floor-- would have given us the tiebreaker advantage. How were the top two seeds ultimately determined?

I think because they beat the no 3 nevada twice, where we beat them once.
Im thinking anyway... wasnt that how it worked... anyway... its supposed to be in tiebreaker, go to conf w-l next behind the tie breaker (dont know about those below if their tied) and whoever has best w-l against that team continuing down the line.
Thanks guys. At least now I have a explanation that makes some sense.

LaTech and Fresno tie for first place and split the 2 games (so they look at the 3 seed). Nevada swept Idaho. That made Nevada the 3rd seed over Idaho. Since Nevada was the 3 seed Fresno got the 1 seed (Fresno had the better record against Nevada). I hope that helps a little bit
Notice the difference in the sentences, this is why kids need good teachers! It was a rough patch at my school! Thanks for clarifying; in English!
I looked at ESPN for the W-L of Idaho and Nevada for that purpose, but at the time they didn't have the game results for any of the saturday games. I had no idea who was actually third. Rather suprised that ESPN is that slow at getting up WBB results (besides the top 25), guess they don't value the few that actually went there for results.
It'll make more sense after we win the tourney...
Okay. Did a quick assessment, for fun.
Here's the team's we might play in the second round. I figure games within two days would assess fatigue and practice so here's the results with their Wins-Losses in games played on or before a second day after the prior game:
(As in if they play on the 1st, games included are the 2nd and 3rd ... not 4th)
Louisiana Tech 5-4 The losses are: 1 vs LSU, 2 vs Boise St, and 1 vs Viriginia.
U Nevada Reno 4-5 W includes home win over currrent #7 Louisville, and loss vs. Cal.
Boise State 6-5 2 of the W's are against us.
Hopefully this info is helpful to someone!
We need to put NMSU away early so our starters can play limited minutes.
