It appeared that Brandon injured a knee during the Nevada game. Any word on how bad the injury is?

ACL was what I heard.
Full year recovery?
KG, Darrius Redding, and David Jackson can play SF next year.
Too bad! He went from dropping a hammer dunk to messing his knee up on a fluke injury.
I hope Brandon will recover soon. He did show some potential during our last 5-6 games.
He walked in my business class today on crutches
Knee is toast. ACL.
Really expect him to have to redshirt next season.
Yeh, when big guys that do not know how to handle the ball well get on fast breaks, it is rarely pretty. This is one of those instances. His dribbling was sketchy all the way down and instead of dribbling up closer to the basket, he picked up his dribble way too early and tried to take two long steps which ended up being very awkward. He should have dribbled closer and chopped his steps up more at the end. He had two guards following him, no way they contest his dunk. He was in too much of a hurry. Hopefully, this freak accident will not hamper his mentality going forward.
That sucks. I was really hoping to see him be a big contributor next season. Oh, well. On the other hand, we'll keep him a year longer.
I'm 5'6" (hardly a big guy), but I blew out my ACL in much the same way. I was playing basketball and went after a loose ball to save it from going out of bounds, planted weird and "POP!" Within 30 minutes it was as big as a grapefruit. But, I kept the ball inbounds!
I hate it for the kid.
We will be okay. He gets to lay around and let that thing heal for a year. When he is able to walk around but not run, he can pratice FT's!
Well, so much for hitting a homerun at the Senior Bowl. Maybe he did miss the NFL gravy train after all? ESPN's Todd McShay reported Thursday that Brandon Gibson has come up lame with a hamstring injury today, and his availability for the upcoming game is doubtful.
