A future hall-of-famer for sure. Another Super Bowl Championship wouldn't hurt.

I have a feeling there will be a dropoff in his production (not just INTs) this year. He looked slow last year and one would expect him to get slower with age. But, this was said last offseason when no one jumped for his services. Time will tell. I am glad its only a one year deal.

I'm thinking his micro fracture surgery, right after the SB, was done to help what slowed him down toward the end of the season. He was faster until those last 4-5 games IMHO. I hope he heals up 100%.

Good that they were able to re-sign him. Hopefully the knee won't bother him during the season. If he gets half as many INT's this coming year that he had last year, Saints will be in good shape. Not sure he can replicate last year, but let's hope so.

You know what you get having him on the roster and even if he can't duplicate last year's numbers... his experience will only be a plus and it is better than letting a "first timer" out there or a rookie who we all know is going to make mistakes because of a lack of experience.

    Good contract renewal!
