Don't know about the first game but we are trailing 5-0 in the 6th in the 2nd game.

We lost 11-5. Right now we are down 5-0 in the 2nd game. I just don't understand something. Two innings ago we had bases loaded, no outs and produced no runs. Last inning we had 2 on, no outs, and got no runs. This inning we got the leadoff batter on, then three straight outs. Why no small ball? Other teams must marvel at our lack of it.

In the first game, we bunted once and they made an error. That is how the game is played.

On another note... Kevin Winn's hit streak was stopped after 33 games. That is unbelieveable. A streak of that length is very rare, congrats to him. He got a hit in the first game and then lost it in the second. Here is to him starting another one tomorrow.

I'm with you there......we saw it happen time after time the last few seasons.....we're always looking for the big clutch hit and totally ignoring the ways to put pressure on the defense.

This was an amazing accomplishment for Kevin and he has become a respected hitter around the WAC. Very proud of him.

I guess the strategy is to shoot for the big numbers by Gorilla ball instead of putting up a number.
