    • Louisiana Tech University's annual economic impact is $462 million, and it supports 4,746 non-university jobs. There were about 378,000 attendees at Tech events last year; 58 percent were from off campus.
    • University of Louisiana at Monroe's annual economic impact is $350 million, and it supports 3,669 non-university jobs. There were about 443,000 attendees at ULM events last year; 12 percent were from off campus.
    • Grambling State University's annual impact is $264 million, and it supports 2,778 non-university jobs. There were about 189,000 attendees at Grambling events last year; about 60 percent were from off campus.

    They must have included all the Hog fans in UL-LR's attendance figures.

    Yea, I would really like to see how they got those numbers. Must be a VERY popular event at ULM that draws students over and over again to it!

    The "12% were from off-campus" is what confuses me. I'm assuming that they are not just talking about athletics. Being in a city, I know nlulm hosts a lot more conferences, trainings, etc., than Tech does. I wonder how much of the numbers are from that? I went to a CEU thing there a few weeks ago, and of the ~40 people there, I think only 5 were not nlulm students. That might help to account for the 12% thing.

    As for the raw numbers, though, I'd assume any time they host a school field trip or anything like that it would count, and being in a city would certainly help with those numbers.

    As for Tech, not only are we in a rural area, but thanks to ol' Jim Crow we have to share that rural area with another institution.
