That's the thing that sucks about living in Baton Rouge sometimes...
I have lived in Baton Rouge my whole life before I came to tech and never noticed any smell, now West Monroe is a different story.
I don't notice a smell here normally, but when I leave, I notice that I can smell the grass and plant life again. That's one of the nice things about visiting home. A lot of the pollution was cleaned up here in BR this past year though, so that's good.
I never smell aything...
Downtown smells like sewage most of the time until you get close enough to the restaraunt strip on 3rd to cover it up with good food smell.
sorry LA, hadn't read your post yet.
I wish I had a video of the guy sitting near us the last time we played @LSpoo. He had missing teeth, bad skin, the worst corndog stereotype. He seemed very ignorant. We commented on the video board having problems and how they have so much money that it was embarrassing and he started knocking on Tech. When we asked him where he went to school, guess what? He said he dropped out of highschool.
If only we could attract all the snaggle-toothed drunken rednecks to our games.....
I really like coming to Baton Rouge, but living in Franklinton (a very rural area of a very rural town) has made me realize that all cities smell. The downtown through LSU parts of Baton Rouge smell a little like stale coffee and diesel fumes. I don't notice it anymore, but after a summer vacation or something, I start to notice it again.
