Just mimicking the thread started by Salty and his ilk that blamed every death and screw up in Iraq on Bush in the two threads listed below. I believe Dawg80 started this thread for that reason amongst others. And also, now that Obama is one in charge, to see if Salty and the like minded others show and share the same negative thoughts (some might say disrespect) in this war and new "surge" as well. During the campaign BHO said he would order US troops to invade Pakistan, if that what it took to get Bin Laden and end the "war on terror." Which, I believe is over because the Obamanites have simply changed the name of the campaign.... It's now the "war on common sense" I fear.
Just saw a report, but it might have been on FOX, which of course, means, don't believe it (). But it did point out how the national media, namely NBC and the others, have either stopped reporting combat casualties or have toned it down. July was the most costly in Afghanistan since the early months of the war, yet, nothing is even mentioned about it on the liberal networks. I understand why, they don't want to make their guy, BHO, look bad.
Wanna know why an idiot like BHO can get elected? Too many people depend on the lib networks for their "information." So, it's not surprising.
Doesn't matter. Since November 5, 2008 BHO knew he was to be the next Commander in Chief and has had ample time to make whatever adjustments he wanted to the policies of Iraq and Afghanistan. For better or worse, everything that happens now is on him.

hah! not possible. The situation in Afghanistan, while not great, was at least stable when Bush was in office. Then, along came the great leader, BHO, taking over and pledging to lead us to victory there. He said so. I heard him say it! BHO said Iraq was the problem and he would switch the focus to Afghan, and win the war there. I heard him say it!
So, this admiral dude is obviously mistaken...or worse! a right-wing nutcase just trying to make the greatest prez in history look bad. Have heart, with Barry and Hillary (and Bill....and Jimmy Carter, sometimes too) in charge of foreign policy, no way can anything go wrong.
Yeap! Dems and Obama just don't know how to win a war. Obama is snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
