I read the thread. Naturally, they all liked the piece.
They pretty well dismiss the cajun response as typical cajun conspiracy chatter (somewhat acurately) and dismiss us as no response except personal attacks (which is one of several reasons I'm not crazy about the fact that this thread did include so many).
There are thoughtful and fair responses to his article, and some are included in this thread. I even emailed the writer (no response) and I thought I was pretty level-headed about it. They've been eclipsed though, even assuming the McNeese or ULL fans would consider them to begin with (doubtful).
I'm not willing to join any more forums to bother with responding though, so I guess it'll just fade away as other topics come up.

It has become such a waste of time to state over and over again that with our payout from the WAC we still make more money even with the increased travel costs than if we played in the Sunbelt... And this clown will not even do enough research to figure that out. How come Mississippi has 3 1A programs with half as many people and less $ Carl???
