I have some issues with my Yamaha outboard. Wondered if anyone here knew of someone that did work for themselves that you trust in the Monroe, Ruston, Minden area. I've heard Tri'lake in ruston is good, but, hourly rates will kill ya. Any thoughts are welcome.

Do they work on Mercury outboards? It hasn't been run in some time so I just want it checked out and have the water pump impeller changed out.
I've always used Raye's Marine here in Shreveport. I became WAY too familiar with them during my Toledo Bend duck hunting/stump jumping days. They always did very timely, very thorough work. More than I can say for the other local, bigger retail/repair places.

The place off Farmerville HWY right before you get to Lake Darbonne (heading North) is where we started taking our stuff. We used to use Tri-Lake but this place is quicker, cheaper, and seem to be more knowledgeable

The place Honker is talking about is Ludwig Marine. Just bought a boat from them. Also Joe Wade is right past them on the right . He does good work too.
