TECH Sporting Clays Shoot

The 2009 Louisiana Tech College of Business Sporting Clays Tournament has been scheduled for Sat, August, 22 this year at Wild WIngs, 433 Downsville Road, Downsville LA (318) 982-5999. I have shot in all of their past events and it is a very cool course and a heckuvalotta fun. It is a good thing to do for TECH as well. You will need a shotgun and at least 5 boxes of bird/target loads. Trust me when I say experience/skill is not a must as my team has historically "stunk the place up" but I'd say we have a lot more fun than the "serious" shooters. The fee is $600 dollars for a 5 man team-$350 of which is tax deductible (that's $120 apiece for the math majors). Individual Registration is $150 per person-$100 of which is tax deductible. The fee includes a participation gift (usually a nice, soft-sided camo TECH cooler) and lunch/refreshments. We usually stay after the lunch and shoot a few rounds of speed-wobble trap or 5-stand (both of which are a hoot). I'll be shooting the 1st Flight.

Cool, if I had the money, I'd do fun stuff like this. Also, I'll probably have to work that day. But it sounds like a great event.

I called the shooting club and was told that all registration was being handled through the LA Tech School of Business. Can someone please privide contact/registration information.
