More movement to the north for Ruston....
Before I know it I am going to be "inner city".
I am a fan of the new enterprises.
Chou,
I love your "collar of shame" avatar, awsome.

this is going to be a really cool development. If I am not mistaken they are using a local architect and construction company too. Keep the $$$ in Ruston.
I just hope it's done high quality and comes out well. I think it's a great idea I just hope it comes to fruition. Looks cool though.
Cool. I think that would be a huge boost to Ruston.
I do wish we can do away with the blue laws in Ruston and have downtown be a place with tons of local restaurants and bars...instead we have empty spaces.
It's dead because there's nothing for people to do down there.
I think downtown Ruston has H-U-G-E potential.
Ruston's city leaders should seriously consider making the immediate downtown area alcohol friendly, encourage investment with business tax incentives, and allocate matching funds from the Ruston Economic Development Corp (REDC). Of course, I'm assuming there is already an REDC type of governmental board in place to help facilitate this.
Imagine a downtown Ruston with about a dozen nice restaurants, an Irish sports bar, a "low ceiling" British pub, a wine tasting bar, a bookstore, a couple of coffee houses, a couple of live music bars, assorted antique shops, and a small Hotel (with party facilities that can accommodate a wedding reception) that has an ajoining steak house. For the blueprint, please see McKinney, Texas.
