TEA Parties are happening again this weekend.

The list I saw shows about 1,100 locations and can be found under TEA Parties on Facebook. I am sure that will equate to 10,000 people when you read about it in the news of course. Our family will all be there. Hopefully some of you will find your way there as well.

Locations for those around N/Central LA:

Pineville - Civic Center Friday at 5 pm
Pineville - LC Guinn Auditorium at 11 am Sat.
Bossier - Bossier Civic Center at 4

Note how it's Pineville, not Alex, and Bossier, not S'port. Not surprising.

Knocking the idea the started the overthrow of British tyranny?

This is as much or more about Congressional tyranny as it is about executive tyranny.

Around 50,000 expected to show up for the TEA Party at Southfork Ranch in Parker, Texas.

Clear media bias showing through once again with the continued lack of drive-by media coverage.

There will be several hundred thousand to possibly well over 1 million people attending at the 1,100 locations. Remind me again how much drive-by coverage the Million (actually more like Hundred Thousand) Man March got?

Is it not obvious why the Community Organizer feels the need to disarm the public?

While the CO (community organizer) bandwagon creaks along those aboard have dangerously forgotten that nearly 60 million of us did not want the CO (he may have won, but 60,000,000 is a lot of mad people being forced to pay the way)!

However, the CO posse has gotten one thing exactly right - 60 million (with guns), always trumps 66 million (without).

Please read each of the following quotes from the one who drafted our Constitution (Thomas Jefferson):

    · A democracy is nothing more than mob rule, where fifty-one percent of the people may take away the rights of the other forty-nine.
    · All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent.
    · Experience hath shown that even under the best forms of government those entrusted with power have, in time, and by slow operations, perverted it into tyranny.
    · My reading of history convinces me that most bad government results from too much government.
    · The natural progress of things is for liberty to yield and government to gain ground.
    · To compel a man to furnish funds for the propagation of ideas he disbelieves and abhors is sinful and tyrannical.
    · I predict future happiness for Americans if they can prevent the government from wasting the labors of the people under the pretense of taking care of them.
    · The democracy will cease to exist when you take away from those who are willing to work and give to those who would not.
    · No free man shall ever be debarred the use of arms.
    · The strongest reason for the people to retain the right to keep and bear arms is, as a last resort, to protect themselves against tyranny in government.
    · The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants.
    · When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty.
    · Every citizen should be a soldier. This was the case with the Greeks and Romans, and must be that of every free state.
    · As our enemies have found we can reason like men, so now let us show them we can fight like men also.
    · Leave no authority existing not responsible to the people.

It was an awesome time. Our "protest" consisted of hearing speakers that were wonderfully inspiring and educational. We heard patriotic music and said the pledge to our American flag - hmmm, why would anyone want to come up with anything different. Each person their walked out inspired and thrilled to have been in the company of like minded people. We will keep on regardless of how tired you may be.
