Its gonna be a murder suicide. Especially if he was shot in the back of the head while on the couch. The other shots were emotional outpourings. Believe it or not but it is more common than not.

Maybe Doc can chime in, but I have never heard of anyone shooting themselves more than once. I am leaning toward the girl killing Mcnair then killing herself after.

Anybody else on here happen to catch Alcorn State and Air McNair v. Grambling? Mid 90's-ish.... the score ended up something like 150 to 153. Pound-for-pound, probably the most entertaining sporting event I've ever seen live.

McNair was as-advertised and would've had my vote for Heismann...

In the League, I always admired him. I hated to hear this. Very bad deal, all around...

I saw him play Sam Houston State. He wasn't too impressive with the defense in his face all the time. Reminded me a lot of what happened when Mississippi Valley had to play us. The SWAC is just too bad to vote one of their players into the Heisman.

That said, I was generally quite impressed with McNair in the NFL. In fact, he was usually one of my fantasy QBs--he was consistent and dependable if not always spectacular.

Sad that his end comes like this.
