The ISS will be visible tonight for anyone that is interested. Go to the link to find out when you can see it. I'm pretty sure its around 9:30 in Ruston tonight.

If you can see through the clouds here!
The following website is good for tracking all satellites and the ISS.

You can register and plug in your location and it will give you a customized listing of all bright passings.
Chris
it should be clear on wednesday night. thats when i'm planning on looking for it
Well did anyone in Ruston see it??
Yeah, but only for a minute because of the clouds. Wednesday night should be a lot clearer. I guess the title is a little unclear. Its not like this is exclusive to Ruston. Anyone can see it. Times are listed by city on the website.
Kewl! I love that kind of stuff.
We saw the ISS while it was still under construction years back at NASA-Houston. It was part of the guided tour at the Space Center. Of course, it was all behind glass from tourists. Which is a huge change from the mid-80's! Back then you could tour NASA fairly freely. Hard to believe, I know, but it's true. It's more like Disney World now, and somewhat expensive, but well-worth a visit.
When dirtylegacy was in 5th grade, his school had a trip planned to space camp in Huntsville, Alabama. It was very cool as the kids got to learn about the history of the space program. Anyway, on our last night we had just finished some project and walked outside and someone looked in the sky to see what looked like a huge shooting star. We were all entranced. Our guide told us to follow him and we went inside to a computer and pulled up heavens-above.come and looked up the ISS and discovered that per his hunch, it was the ISS that we saw flying over. It was exciting to see it and especially while we were at the site that started the space program.
Just found this post.
We got to see it on both nights, just truckin' across the sky. It was moving QUICK.
