linds, also for good pics, google the arboretum in Dallas. It should be awesome this time of year. It will be hot so go early or go late.

If you want good maragritas and great mexican food in Ft Worth go to Joe T. Garcias.

Note: They don't take CC's but they do have a ATM on site.
Freebirds!
Blue Mesa is pretty good, and not quite as bad for price as those other places (Blue Mesa is in Ft. Worth, too).
I kind of agree on the Rainforest. It's an interesting place to go once. Or maybe if you had kids that were into it or wanted to bring them back a gift it'd be worth going more than once. A little too loud to really carry on a conversation.
I haven't been to the Arboretum, but I imagine you can get great pictures either place. The Botanical Gardens do have the Japanese Garden, but I'm sure the Arboretum has things that we don't have over here. The lawn of the Kimball Art Museum has some nice places for pictures, too. For that matter, from the front of the Amon Carter you can get a good shot of the skyline in the background.
Your best bet is to probably check out both websites and see what has more of the stuff you're looking for. But like techman05 said above, I'd get there early or late because in the middle of the day it will be blazing.

They are at the Rainforest place right now and she says "It's super neat!!!!"
we were in Dallas this past week and took the boy to Medieval Times and he LOVED it. Had considered going to the rainforest cafe but time didnt allow us to make it there. Did the Rangers game Wed night, six flags thurs as well as meeting up with one of our old volleyball friends, and then friday did medieval and the mesquite rodeo. It was a great trip but so glad to be back in God's Country (Lincoln Parish)
Where is PF Changs in Dallas? What is it close too?
Take the $13 tour of the new Cowboys stadium, if we're still suggesting things to do.
