Vette was telling me of this group that has started on Facebook to support a coach from Huntington High, I think. His name is Coach Byrd. Apparently, he is facing the possibility of losing his coaching and teaching job because from what I understand (couldn't find the article) he was made to leave Superior because he was too drunk but he went back inside and the cops arrived to escort him out and he resisted arrest. Apparently there are alot of people that don't feel he should lose his job over this because it has nothing to do with his teaching and coaching. First, can someone supply me a link to a story that has what happened so I can decide which side of the fence I'm on.

Initially, I'm inclined to believe that this should determine whether he is in a position of authority and leadership. If he did indeed resist arrest and trespass after being told to leave the restaraunt, I think it sets a bad example for those he is supposed to be teaching how to follow the rules. What are others thoughts on the subject. If possible, think with an open mind and not because you personally know the guy. How would you feel if it was some Joe Highschool Coach from Iowa?
