    Fairness doctrine???

When Boorack and the dems slip the fairness doctine by us sometime in the future, do you think it will trickle down to sports message boards where we will have to let opposing teams have equal time on our board???

Well see, the fairness doctrine is a mystical magical boogeyman that lives in a faraway land called FOXNEWSIA. No Democrat has ever actually heard or seen of this mystical beast, but Republicans promise that it is RIGHT AROUND THE CORNER SO FREAKOUT AND SCREAM AND HIDE AHHHHHHHH

It's basically aimed at AM radio from what I gather. Franken and air america failed and they want to blame others.

We'd have to wait for a bill to get introduced to get a picture of what they're trying to accomplish.

They pretty much want us to sit down, shut up, and pay our taxes.

Exactly, until it gets introduced as a bill, it's just a wild idea. I do know that at least some congress members have spoken in favor of it, however they were probably just loons.

You will be waiting a long time. Unless of course liberal shows capture the #1 ratings... Because then I'm sure Republicans would be all about a fairness doctrine, because the founding fathers were all about hearing every person's ideas and views and that's democracy.

Someone may wind up introducing it, but it will fail to get more than two or three co-sponsors and it will never reach the floor for a vote... regardless of what party introduces it.

They do that with gun bills all the time. Some fool far left winger introduces bills to grab guns every full moon it seems.

    Re: Fairness doctrine???

Dick Durbin, John Kerry, Tom Harkin, Jeff Bingaman, Debbie Stabenow are all senators who have stated their support the reinstatement of the Fairness Doctrine. Nancy Pelosi is the Speaker of the House and she supports it publicly. Apparently a Democrat has seen this beast...

President Obama does not support the fairness doctrine as we know it. He wants equality in radio based on minority ownership more than content.

    Add Kucinich and Feinstein.

So the fact that Obama has received more death threats than any other president is all really just an elaborate liberal plot to pass a fairness doctrine?

I know you built up this fantasy world from 2000-2008 where everything was unicorns and rainbows, but you need to come back to reality. Your fantasy world is not real. There are no brownshirts. you will not get rounded up. There is no death panel. Obama was not born in Kenya. There is no fairness doctrine.

Do you have any idea what you are talking about? It's been law before and there is nothing fair or American about it.

Apparently your ignorance goes beyond not knowing anything about the State of Mississippi.

Did DB2-3 say something? Man, ignoring the American people is great for Obama/Pelosi/Reid/Barney Frank/Boxer etc... and works wonders against DB2-3, Salty and Teabag. Oh, has Pelosi/Reid/Frank/Boxer had their "townhall" meetings yet? I doubt they will unless they stack them like some of the other arrogant puss Dems/Libs.
