I loathe Wal-mart regardless of their politics. I would do just about anything to avoid going there.

Plus, in Ruston, you see everyone you know there.

    WM is therapeutic.

If you're ever feeling down about yourself, just go to WM. All better.

So true. Go mid-day on a Saturday. If you have 40 minutes to kill on picking up a loaf of bread. I swear they have nothing better to do but walk as slowly as possible, stopping every few feet and blocking the entire aisle. I loathe shopping at Walmart.

Corporations, and indeed all businesses, exist to make their owners money. Period.

Doesn't matter if that is Wal-Mart or a snowball stand on the corner.

It is funny how some idiots complain when businesses are successful and turn a profit, and then complain again when the company is unsuccessful and goes bankrupt. I am starting to think some people will complain no matter what.

Yeh, it is pretty easy. If you didnt like the way Wal-Mart treated you, do not work there. Most jobs there are low skill jobs that do not require a large wage (that is fact). My only beef with Wal-Mart/the government is that given our current healthcare, Wal-Mart knows they dont have to provide health insurance because the government will. I guess my beef is more with the government because they are the ones allowing Wal-Mart to have its cake and eat it too. I dont know how to feel about it.

I don't think anybody is knocking capitalism.

I'm just amused at the fact that walmart is pushing healthcare on everybody and appearing to care for the poor while they do it. In reality, it's all about the dolla dolla bills y'all.

I'm all about making a profit, and walmart is the epitome of effective competition, but not at the expense of them imposing government on me with their political pull.

My point exactly! The beautiful thing is, we still have choices where we spend our money. They will not make money on me to use to support this crap. I will not shop there.

I'm growing more fond of Target. Just seems too much of the same thing though, just red everywhere instead of blue.
