For those who don't think they will round us up

    I believe it is coming.

They are using a manfuactured global warming threat to confiscate money from businesses.

They used a lie about greed to steal from the bond holders.

Don't think for a minute they won't use this lie to round us up.

    http://abcnews.go.com/Blotter/story?id=8324481&page=1

They admit in the article that there has been no increase in the threats. They are making this up for a reason.

A wave of militias formed in the early 90's when Clinton came it too. It seems some people really don't like their freedoms evaporating.

However, they couldn't claim racism when Clinton was in office, but they dang sure will now that they have the chance!

I don't think republicans are gonna get rounded up myself.

However the feds didn't make matters better by the WACO and Ruby Ridge fiascos. That stirred up a lot more militia activity, and probably greatly contributed to a Mr. McVeigh's action.

The early 90's were fairly crazy.

Chuck Baldwin says they ARE out to get us:

    http://www.chuckbaldwinlive.com/c200..._20090811.html

At this point, the imagination can take us anywhere, but it is not a little disconcerting when the same federal government that is building these internment camps begins categorizing Christians, conservatives, people who support the Second Amendment, people who oppose abortion and homosexual marriage, people who oppose the North American Union and the New World Order, people who oppose the United Nations and illegal immigration, and people who voted for Ron Paul or Chuck Baldwin as "extremists," or "potential dangerous militia members."

Anyone knows that before a government can begin persecuting and imprisoning large groups of people, they must first marginalize them. As someone said, "Just because you are paranoid does not mean they really aren't trying to get you."

They didnt categorize people who were "solely" Christians, or "solely" Conservative as potential dangerous militia members. Maybe Chuck Baldwin should learn how sentences work. Kind of odd how the three people who have recently gone crazy and killed people in PA and KS fit the "dangerous militia member" profile... Because hey- dont you guys believe profiling works? Shouldnt this prove it now? You should be happy!

And see, the sad thing is (and Ron Paul is the same way), if it werent for these obvious appeals to the lunatic fringe using fear and scaring people that they will be rounded up, I would actually agree with some of his ideas.

    From Wikipedia:
Baldwin supports lessening U.S. involvement in the United Nations, reducing U.S. income taxes and repeal of the Patriot Act. He would withdraw troops from Iraq, seek to end illegal immigration, and enforce stricter immigration laws. Emphasizing "America's Christian heritage", he supports the gold standard, the right to keep and bear arms, homeschooling, and pro-life legislation such as the Sanctity of Life Act.

Good ideas: repeal Patriot Act, withdraw from Iraq, end illegal immigration and enforce the laws on it...

Bad ideas: Lessen involvement in the UN, reducing income taxes, homeschooling

Batshit insane: the gold standard, especially because of christian heritage.

What's wrong with the gold standard? The government can't manufacture inflation as easily?

The UN is one of the most useless bodies of govt in the world today. They are completely impotent and couldn't make someone come in out of the rain if they wanted to. All of the "sanctions" they put on countries reminds me of animal house and being on "double secret probation" that's a joke. Reducing income taxes is a bad idea how? More money in my pocket is bad how? Homeschooling is an alternative and should be allowed... government should NOT be in the parenting business. They do NOT know how to raise my kids better than I do.
