I liked No Country for Old Men but thought There Will be Blood was interesting at first but turned bad about half way through. I just can't see the purpose of Blood. No Country for Old Men was a bit bloody but I found it fascinating. It is one of the few movies with Woody Harelson is in that I will watch.

What did you expect? It has Matt Dillon as a main character and the antagonist to boot. The only movie he's been in that he's good in was The Outsiders. Been on coattails ever since.
Completely agree. That is why I am angry at myself. I saw the previews once and got talked into seeing it by a friend. I figured maybe the action would be worth it, but no. Not even close.
Slap the friend. Then force them to go to an absolutely horrible movie. Watching Dillon is akin to waterboarding for me.
Bruno. I was expecting Borat with a gay fashion designer. It wasn't. I did not enjoy the flick in any way, shape, or form.
And I don't know who put No Country for Old Men on the avoid list. It is one of my Top 5 All Time Movies. The great story telling of Cormac McCarthy with the great direction of the Cohen Brothers. I love every moment of it.
