The only thing saving this is we don't have to hear John Madden comment on the Farve situation.

Come on y'all. It is his life. Let him live it the way he wants. If he plays or not, it does not affect you. I am not a Brett fan, but find it humorous that people get so upset about this. I am a Broncos fan that would much rather have Favre at 80 than Kyle Orton in his prime!
I also don't want to see him get hurt all because of the mighty $$ and wanting to still play a young man's/ boy's game for his ego.

A masterful move by Favre and his handlers . . . lie to the masses of media to get them off his a$$ and continue to study the playbook and work out some so he can announce whenever Vick is signed by another NFL team.
A smarta$$ comment about Vick, but the rest I think was all a plan by Favre to get some breathing room during the pre-season.

As long as he WINS GAMES, then it doesn't matter.
Plus, it's still better than Vinny Testeverde and Jeff George. The only difference is that Brett is actually GOOD and is loved by ESPN.
