Stop with the MSM stuff

The "main stream media" includes both conservative and liberal viewpoints. Hannity, Beck, Olbermann, Dobbs, OReilly - these guys are mainstream and some of the most watched personalities.

If it comes on one of those shows, then it is "main stream."

If it only gets posted in blogs or mentioned on AM radio, then it's not "main stream."

I think MSM refers to newspapers and non-cable news networks. I think about 10 x's as many get their news from Katie Couric than Fox. The cable show guys are not professional journalists (I think Olbermann may be a professional sports journalist though).

I agree. MSM refers to the big 4: NBC, CBS, ABC, and Fox. It also refers to the major newspapers: USA Today, New York Times, Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Miami Herald, Houston Chronicle... maybe a few others.
