Trying to get records from one doctor to another when no one knows the correct fax number. Why are we using physical faxes instead of E-fax or secure email?
All the Facebook posts from teachers talking about how tired they are from dealing with kids for the last 8.5 months. Begging people to thank a teacher, share a positive experience with your kids teacher. What about the rest of us who have to deal with idiot adults year round who might have been in your class at some point?

I'm not saying a yellow legal pad and a #2 pencil would be a clearly better system, but. . . it might be worth doing the math. The number of actions it takes just to record a normal day of work (for professional staff) is ridiculous. I'm sure the auditors appreciate not having to comb through paper time-cards, but at some point that's their problem (and their job) and not mine.

Amen to that! I have corrected many that "thanked me for my service". I lost friends in Nam and had to remind some that if it wasn't for the lost heroes of the Greatest Generation, we would be speaking German or Japanese right now.

The first 1,000 times I heard it it seemed to have a bit of cachet- but not so much anymore.
