    There's no conclusive proof that it's the culprit. I mean, we've been dumping giga-giga-giga tons of CO2 for 10 years and temps went down.

    If there were a direct relationship, I'd think the temps should have kept going up at the rate we were dropping more CO2.

    First, temperatures are not dropping, they are going up.

    As for the direct relationship, look at ocean temperatures, glaciers melting, and the acidity of the oceans.

    And yes, there is conclusive proof that co2 in the atmosphere affects global temperatures, and hence, the climate.
