The one thing I noticed during the 1st half: The top corners of the stadium were missing fans. Thats right, South Carolina, an SEC team with a great fan base, hasn't had full attendance for a game against the #4 team in the nation.

If we get close to our Nichols attendance for our weds night Hawaii game it will be a success. Even the SEC has problems with weekday games.

Don't get upset if we can't match our last games attendance.

It was a horrible production by ESPN. They missed tons of replays and it was obvious that he guys in the booth only did homework on about three players per team. Also, the SEC or NCAA must be on them about not questioning calls because there were several non calls or bad calls that the announcers never talked about.

I enjoyed seeing the old ball coach (ESPN still misses that one "head ball coach") out smart Nutt all night.

The facemask grab in the second half was lamely commented on. Even though they did come back with a replay after a commercial.

Kept looking in the student crowd for my daughter. She had said earlier in the week that she was going to study all-night Wednesday for a big nursing test on Friday cuz she had to go to a football game first on Thursday night. (Okay . . . she gets it from her dad honestly. . . .).

Also notice Jesse Grandy who rushed for a few yards from the WR position in the 4th quarter scoring drive for Ole Miss. We recruited him pretty hard and he chose Ole Miss on or near signing day. Got some PT as a true fresh.....Dooley must be pickin them right.

Really? He was short-arming his throws the 1st half and threw into double coverage all night. If anything he looked like a true frosh and I believe his stats reflect that.
