My gauge on this after watching at least bits of every WAC game I could is that either Tech or San Ho has the worst QB in the conference.

But he doesn't turn the ball over. Not saying he's awesome, by any means. But he is what he is. Manages the game, and takes care of the ball. I know he threw a bad pick last night, but that will happen. You guys act like Dooley is hiding some big time play maker/game changer on the bench behind Ross. Someone that would automatically throw 250+ per game. There just isn't that guy. If we had him, he would be playing.

Well then you just summed up the season and we may not win another game this year. It is easy to beat the techsters. Just pack the line and stop the run. If you pass, just blitz as our QB has happy feet and wont step into a throw.

Jenkins doesn't turn the ball over?

This season minus our FCS opponent...
    3 INTs
    2 FUMBLES (1 LOST)
    1 TD

I bet they throw more than 17 passes a game and have scored more than 1 passing TD and throw for more than 139 ypg.

But the issue is not how many passes he throws, bottom line, comparatively he takes care of the ball on a consistent basis. Which gives you a chance to play ball. It seems everyone is asking for someone with no experience to step in and all of sudden things will be better. If he was trowing 40%, 80 yards/game, no TDs and 9 picks and we were 0-5, then yes definately make a move. But I believe he is 60% and 175+ yards a game and we've won 2 games (the ones we should have won, and did so convincingly). Do you really think someone who probably doesn't know the playbook will do better than that?

Jenkins has NOT thrown for 175+ in a single FBS game this season! His BEST performance in 4 FBS games was 156 yards!
