    Dems. now represent the wealth

    humm.......

House Dems now represent richest regions...
Democratic members of the House of Representatives now represent most of the nation's wealthiest people, a sharp turnaround from the long-standing dominance that Republicans have held over affluent districts.

Democrats have virtually erased the historic wealth gap that has long defined the parties and their policies. The median household income of Democratic districts last year was just $1,180 less than in Republican districts, down from $6,793 in 1990.

Wasserman says Republicans have tended to appeal to affluent voters since the Roosevelt era in the 1930s and 1940s but recently have appealed more to Southern and rural voters, who often have lower incomes.

It looks like taking money from those who earn it, then giving it to those who don't is working.... I think they call it vote buying.

Do you know how stupid that sounds? This report says "Democrats now represent the richest districts"

If they were taking money away from the wealthy and giving it to the poor, wouldnt the wealthy be upset, and NOT vote democrat, hence democrats NOT representing the richest districts??

Or, if youre saying they only represent the richest districts because they bought the votes, does that mean the only reason Republicans *used* to lead in that area was because they bought votes?

Or are you just living in ignorance and refusing to believe that it isnt just welfare recipients and hippies who vote Democrat?

The Democrats now represent the financial interests of 70 percent of America at the expense of those that make over $109k.
    Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”

What a difference 10 months make. Keep your shirt on DB, when the dust settles after the 2010 election, we'll see if 2008 was an anomaly or not. Hey, they've got a nice margin in congress, let's see if they blow it.

Book it, if congress started whacking entitlements right and left, separating the needy from the freeloaders, you'd see another left wing independent party spring up overnight. Your party is split right now and its prospects appear iffy. Try not to look too smug yet.

Another thing DB, district lines are redrawn by anyone who can get away with it. You can drive thru most cities and see nice homes and apartment complexes within shooting distance of each other. I guess for you an example of the ultimate goal is to get 5 families living in each of Donald Trump's mansions while he's still paying the rent and utilities, isn't that right DB?
