There were a number of tailgating spots along tailgate alley that were not being used. They usually are 90+% in use.
Looks like every single fan drive their own car to the game..

Willis-Knighton supposably has the spot just to the north of us reserved, buy they have never used it.
I was thinking before the game how cool it would be to add some blue lights to the outside of the TAC. Blue all over except a big white circle around the State T on the front.
That would be cool! Maybe some murals on the side, highlighted in white with a ring of blue lights along the top. I also like the idea of something on the roof.
Hopefully we'll have a full house for Boise to take some pics
Hey Viper......will you be doing this again during the Boise game? If so, I have one request: Can you time the "stadium aerial photo" shot so that it is taken during the very early part of the 2nd quarter? That seems to be when our attendance looks the largest. The band is still in the stands, all the students are finally thru the gate & seated (or standing), etc...... Just inquiring.....:icon_wink:

A great place to set up is the Soccer field, no one can park there. Plus it's a night game, he might be able to see his copter better if they turn on the field's light.
I thought the soccer field was the $10 parking.
Nope that is softball parking lot. We really need to have the $10 parking somewhere else in some larger area.
The practice field at the top of the hill near the Joe is also $10 parking. It was closed for homecoming because it was too wet for vehicles.
Soccer field is sacred ground now. Official home of a varsity sport . .. and Viperhawk?:icon_wink:

Reckon there's any chance of me getting permission to take off in the track/practice field area? We could possibly pull off a night shot there. I'd need to borrow a nice full frame DSLR in order to run up the ISO a bit. Know anyone that has one of those?!
For night flying do you have lights on it, or do you have an onboard wireless video system and fly FPV?
And you know it's better to ask forgiveness than permission, right?!?
