    RUSTON - The Louisiana Tech Athletic Department will take another step forward in its branding efforts with the redesign and launch of its official website Thursday as www.latechsports.com received a total overhaul by CBS College Sports Network. The new site is set to launch at approximately 5 p.m.
    I thought our current site was pretty good. Maybe it will now be even better.

    I think they are still working out some design issues. I do like the look better. I'm not a fan of dark sites like the last one. There are definitely some rough edges, but I'm interested to see what the new features of the site will be with the CBS affiliation.

    Not a graphic designer (though I do have experience in design), but I find it very busy. The "adsy" description is dead on. I know you have to advertise events, sponsors, etc., but there's too much there and too much movement (especially the flash logo). It's a bit overwhelming.

    I hate to sound so negative, but that's my initial impression.

    I like it. Much cleaner, easier to use.

    Tons of ads, but I like that they are clustered toward the bottom rather than cluttering up the main navigation area. I also like the tabbed feel.
