I actually didnt expect big things this from them. I thought they would be somewhere between a 6 and 8 seed and make the playoffs but thats about it. I think its a combination of both. They have a stud at pg, a servicable center, an ok pf, and a bunch of pathetic wings and throw in the fact that I think looking back at that awful playoff performace last year and losses this year they quit on Scott.
Early word is that Bower (GM) will be the interim coach, will find out in a few. Would love to hire Avery Johnson and have PJ a part of the staff.
sportscenter just reported that bower is the new coach ... and tim floyd has signed on as an assistant.

Yea im less than thrilled, no offense but Tim and the NBA hasnt been a good mix.
Floyd will be great at breaking up the fights in the locker room.

Trust me you DO NOT want Avery. If he goes there it will be great for the first couple of years and then go South in a hurry. He is a big time hard ass and very stubborn. It wears the players out after a couple of years. Works good at first though so they might catch lightening in a bottle.
With CP3 on crutches, I don't see how this team can bounce back. (no pun intended)
I may still go see 2-3 games this year.

The fact that their bench is terrible kills em. It's like they were saying on Sportcenter the other night, Can you name anyone off the Hornets bench??
