Had some big hits....coverage needs more work. Will be a good one, that was his first action.
Didn't think of that! Maybe the number will bring him some magic and he'll turn out to be not only good, but awesome! Kid looked good to me. Yeah, he got burned on that one long TD pass, but that comes with experience.
Had my #37 jersey on last nigh. He made me proud to wear it. The kid has a lot to learn but man does he bring it. Saw him lay the wood to several Bronks.
He looks alot like Quin in uniform--reminded me that Quin was a safety coming out of high school. He definitely brought the wood, but those tight ends for Boise ate him alive.
What I like is that he has (in spades) that which you cannot teach: INTENSITY.
For his first ever college playing time in that position, I thought he did really well, and am really optimistic about his prospects as his skills develop.
BTW-Did Boyd not play?
That kid hits like a truck but he got burned in coverage all night. Bronco receivers were wide open all night.
He also missed a tackle on Avery on that long rushing TD. If we would have had Baker, this game could have been completely different. Broades experienced trial by fire last night, but he COULD have prevented 2-3 of Boise's TDs. Loved watching him hit, though.

LOVE the way this dude hits.
And he can cover some ground. The play he made (pass interference) was impressive! How he had the ability to recover make a play was just incredible.
Yep. Once he learns covering techniques he won't be a bad player at all.
