This is an old conference rival to put on top of the strength of the teams. It is a tough one and will send one team out of receiving votes and one team in. Frankly, it sounds like WKU AND the Techsters are top 25 teams.Originally Posted by FishingBack

Sadly they can buy the home games to win (as they do), and being a major school which a lot of grads generally helps you getting better odds of getting ranking.

It is finally game day! Can't wait for this one. Talk about a test to see how far we have come! WKU didn't beat Vandy. I thought they did, but they took them to OT and lost on one shot, apparently. They have a 6'2" post player that Dowdell ate for lunch last year. However, she still kept them in the game. It was their guards that stepped up and won it for them. I have no fears that Dowdell and Johnson will take care of the post. We need our guards to really shine in this one, as well. Hostile crowd won't be intimidating after the Baylor game and we should come out swinging.
WKU mirrors us in so many ways. They NEVER stop fighting and no lead is safe. The good thing is that no lead THEY have is safe from us either. This is going to be a battle and we need this win!
If we win, it will really build some confidence going into the MState game on Saturday. Never easy at WKU, though - never!
Anybody know of any free video streaming of the game? I know we can pay for it at the WKU site.
Any one know how Pringle is doing?
She didn't show much in the little she played at Baylor,
bu knows, maybe she's not quite up to snuff yet... would be nice to get her back and hitting some of those 3's for us!!
You are right. We need her hitting again. I don't think she is completely well yet, but it is coming..... She will have a break out game at some point. I hope it is tonight!

I wouldn't mind seeing Wysinger in there as a small forward/guard along with Dowdell and Johnson!
The problem is that we might have to save her for when the post get in trouble with fouls...

I think Dowdell went off for like 30 points last time we played. The problem was that nobody else could hit. Wysinger would be good as a 3 with those 2, but you are right about foul troubles. Wysinger is good at slashing, though, and might get them into foul trouble trying to guard her.
Man! I just went through a lot of difficulty buying the monthly package from the WKU Site. It is really disorganized, so if others are going to do that, I would suggest you try now.
I had signed up before, so it had my email in the system. I didn't know my login, though, or my password. It would only send my password, if I knew my log in. Finally, I registered again under a different email. Then you have to go to "my profile", which is very small and hard to find. Then go to purchase packages. At that point, it told me that I didn't have any credit card entered. So, I had to go back to "my profile" and then to "manage cards". I added my card and then went back to "purchase package".
I am exhausted! This thing better work tonight. I am on my laptop and going to hook my projector to it, so I can see it on a big screen. I, usually, turn off my laptop for an hour to let it rest before doing this - it gets slow after being on all day. This time, though, I am not going to dare log out, so I will just have to leave the laptop on from now till the game is over.
Time to upgrade your lappy then, Champ :icon_wink:
I know........ This one is almost a year old and is starting to need it. It stays on just about all day, though, all the time. I can take it in to work and have them wipe it clean and reload it.
