He's a tweener. Too small for LB and too slow for Safety. Reminds me of Quinn Harris if he can add about 25 lbs.

Should be pretty easy for DH to put 25 of the right pounds on the kid over a couple years.

I am sure that Mount Ellis would be GLAD to let him have 25 of his pounds!

I'm not so sure those are the pounds we're looking for coach, more like saddle bags.:icon_wink:

You are exactly right! I am just trying to figure out how we can convince Mt. Ellis to shed about 25 more--if we can--lookout at DT!!

I watched him play some in highschool. He has a suprisingly quick first step for such a big fellow. Do you know what his target weight is? 325?

I hear Ancar can really lay the wood, I bet he could play OLB at 200.

Well, he reported in at 386 (legit). Since that time, his target weight has floated as he has been up & down. I think if we could get him down to 340, that would satisfy the coaches that he could last more than 1 or 2 plays before he has to rest. I will never forget seeing him at Athletic Republic in Monroe during the spring of last year going through his workout--an awesome sight for such a HUGE man who, at that time, weighed around 350. His quickness & power at that time was something you do not see often for a man as young as he was.
