Maybe so, but its all we have.

Anyway Southern Miss has four 3 star recruits.
I like to compare ours to theirs since we are recruiting the same players most of the time.

This is a huge class in terms of building depth. We should (finally) be able to redshirt all but a small handful of these players, unless they're simply more talented than what we got (what I call the Jordan Mills Factor).

I'm chalking it up as a win if we get the 4 or 5 guys on the DL that we need. Everything else is gravy.

We're getting pretty stacked at OLB and S, which should really help our special teams. OLB might be the strength of the team, even with Faust out. And for the first time in a long time, we have legitimate 2nd and 3rd stringers at some key spots (MLB: Cole, Solomon, Kendrick), (OLB: Dudley/Rufus/(Ancar), Dusty/Kiami/IK in whatever order), (S: Chad/Crowe, Tank/CJ). No more walk ons and marginal schollies on the two deep on D. OL should be a war.

We went into the season with only 75 to 78 scholarship players. We were VERY thin at the end of the season so I see alot of these guys playing early.

Good post. The biggest remaining critical needs in my book are CB's, defensive linemen that can play now (looks like we're lacking depth and quality pass rushers), and my personal peeve - a punter!

One good RB and a few WR's with speed would really help too!
