They have also had issues with CST failing to broadcast the "game of the week" in north Louisiana and even the Northshore area for reasons only known to CST. This season, they featured the Independence-Amite game and it wasn't seen in either city due to CST. Henderson has said that as long as they don't LOSE money, that he wants all of the championship games on live TV all over the state. He admits that Henderson and LHSAA should address this issue in a better manner in the future and make sure that CST cooperates with the Monroe market so that the games are televised up here. He also said that they have discussed broadcasting games on LPB or even starting their own LHSAA television network in the future as other states have done, however they are too busy catching up from Tommy Henry's regime to begin such an expensive venture right now. He also emphasized that the state championships ARE a "fundraiser" for LHSAA as they account for approximately 60% of their revenue and they are NOT funded by the state. However, this doesn't mean that they are intentionally blacking out the games in north Louisiana in order to make money, because it is purely CST's decision.
