    That's a pretty good job by Gill to land Torbush and Long as coordinators like that. Not saying Torbush and Long are great, but they are solid choices. Also gives Kansas some geographic recruiting in-roads to the west coast and into the Southeast.

    Dan Mullen hired Torbush at MS State last year after Croom got croomed. He came to MSU with a one-year contract. Rumor is that the contract was not being extended.

    Recruiting would have to be tough in Kansas. I've been to Lawrence and there's not much to do and it's a place where it can be -4 and blowing snow 3 months out of the year.
