Kansas, most money spent on team travel? that will probably go down now that they don't have to feed Mangino.

Whoever negotiated the contracts for ULM's away games deserves some credit. Why play an Auburn for $500K when you can get $750K from Texas? Both numbers are nothing more than WAG's by me. My point is this, when scheduling a "money game", why not go to the highest bidder? Just good business.

To counter any EagerEagle posts, here is the ranking of the Top 50 highest percentages (of the 99 known amounts) of total operating revenues that came from student fees or a university subsidy.

About 40% is the figure that I have always thought should be the maximum that students or a state should directly support a university athletic program, and Tech continues to operate right at that 40% figure.

    The Top 50 by conference
MAC--all 12 available (all in the Top 29), Temple numbers not available
    SBC--all 9 (all 9 in the Top 30)
    CUSA--8

They have a lot more students.

But then again, ULM is higher than us and I thought we were a little bigger than them. Good question.
