The truth hurts, Dawgmatic. But just remember......it was a Saints fan that opened this can of worms......don't blame me if you don't like the answer.

One of the things that I always admired about Shreveport and NW LA was that Shreveport didn't fall into that silly "Saints" wannabe fan block the way the rest of Louisiana did, and frankly, the way Shreveport has done with LSU. At least when it came to the NFL, Shreveport fans seemed to go their own way.....and became Cowboy fans.

Fact is, Dallas is ALWAYS going to be geographically closer to Shreveport than New Orleans is. In fact, it's twice as close. So, Shreveporters should be proud of their OWN culture (which is much more Cowboy than Cajun), and not feel the need to adopt someone else's.

Saints fans are coming crashing to earth... The weaknesses that you were lucky enough to overcome in many games earlier in the season are not being overcome as of late. Another weakness = SOS being 30 out of 31. Playoffs may not be very interesting...

Yep, and the other hottest team in football helped them out. Them Panthers are playing out of their minds right now. Go to NY and beat the Giants 41-9. All I have to say is wow, and I am glad they had Delhomme in early in the season and missing the playoffs. I always thought the Saints would lose to them in Week 17, and I am very confident in that now. I just hope the Vikes can lose one of their last two, so we can still have home field advantage. Even if that advantage doesnt seem so great now.

You people that live in Shreveport --and most of north Louisiana-- and choose to be "Saints" fans instead of Cowboys fans are nothing more than PRETENDERS! It's why so many of you have divided loyalties and cheer for LSU. It's also why you started hosting Mardi Gras parties in north Louisiana over the last couple of decades....something that never happened when I was growing up in north Louisiana.

Never mind that Dallas is only 3 hours from Shreveport while New Orleans is 6 hours away. You're wannabees, plain and simple. Ideally, you want to be "Cajuns", but it's just not in your DNA. So, you look silly when you try to adopt the Cajun culture.

I think you need to do a little research about where the Cajun culture exists. Hint: It aint in New Orleans. Maybe Creole, but not Cajun!
