I'll take Benson's picture over this nationally seen of Jerry Jones any day of the week.


Picking your nose is so much more satisfying when you’re doing it in your brand new, $1.1 billion stadium. The camera cut away after the lengthy clip of Jerry digging for gold, but presumably the result was then either flicked on a Texas taxpayer down below or put in his pocket for use in his next plastic surgery.

I'm sorry.....I'm trying to stay out of this silly argument.....but the Benson incident was really funny. I thought that old fart Benson was going to have a heart attack and die on the spot. And his lady friend looked like she didn't even know what a football is! Thank goodness he's okay.

The TV team really shouldn't have done that to Benson. But it was still very funny.

1) First, that's old news. The fact that Jerry got the taxpayers to pay for so much of the stadium only means he's a smart businessman.

2) You are a hypocrite. Everybody knows that Benson is milking Louisiana's taxpayers just to keep the Saints franchise in Louisiana. At what point do you look in the mirror and say "geez, I'm an idiot for bringing this up?"


And even worse, many Louisiana taxpayers can't see some Saints games on TV, even though their tax dollars support the team's existance. See link below:

And here's a couple of articles saying the Saints are the ONLY NFL franchise receiving state funding for a franchise, and that Benson rakes in $23 Million per year in direct payments from Louisiana's taxpayers. This is in addition to the $85 Million in rennovations the Super Dome will get this nyear as a result of Benson signing a new 17-year lease, and in addition to the $210 million rennovation the SuperDome got 2 years ago.
