I went and saw this with my wife for valentines day. Wasn't bad. It's a chick flick but it's based on a true story. Good date movie.

Saw "The Kings Speech" last weekend.

EXCELLENT movie. Definitely a must have.

Saw "Hugo" this weekend. Was a little strange and didn't know what to expect. Pretty good movie with a pretty interesting story-line. You can definitely tell it was a Scorcese picture. Overall, I would definitely recommend it.

This is an older movie that I had seen some time ago and couldn't remember the name. It was on the other night so now I know the name.
    Fresh
At first the movie really turned me off due to the subject matter (drugs, gangs, language, etc.) but as it went on, I found a movie about a boy who gets back at all the bad guys through his smarts. If you see it on tv and can get through all the bad in the front end, the movie is quite enjoyable as the kid takes it to all the drug dealers.
    This is the trailer.

I liked "Hunger Games," but apparently a bunch of people did too. It beat all of the Twilight movies in its opening weekend, and came in third all-time to Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 and The Dark Knight. I haven't read the book yet, but the wifey said it was a pretty good representation. Personally, I can't wait for The Avengers and the Anchorman sequel.

    The Avengers

No complaints. It plays exactly to what it is, a superhero movie. It's just a good, balanced story. Doesn't waste time with unnecessary details and doesn't overload your senses to the point of irritation like others *cough*transformers*cough*. There was one "heart-wrenching" moment to me, but that's because I respect the actor and the character, and RDJ sells the subsequent scenes expertly.

Also, I think worth mentioning, somehow Mark Ruffalo doesn't make the Hulk suck. Still wouldn't think he would be good for a stand alone character though.

Already ready for Iron Man 3 and Avenger 2.

Snow White wasn't bad overall but Kristen Stewart isn't a good actor.

There was quite a contrast between her and Theron. Theron is amazing.

Stewart's only talent is for the camera to zoom in on her face while she doesn't speak.

Replace her, that brother, and change some personality stuff (bumbling buffoon to suave hero or legit evil henchmen, really?), you'll have at least a 4/5 star movie.

"Senna" - a very very good documentary even if you are not a fan of F1. Truly unique how the story is told by using 100% archived footage and not using talking heads to fill in the gaps in the story. Most people know how the story of Ayrton Senna ends, so the fact that it has an emotional ending should not be a surprise, but it still hits so hard.
    Jordan Mills on choosing Tech:
“It’s a great experience seeing them play. It was a good atmosphere. The fans stood up the whole game and never sat down. They have a great fan base.”

The Intouchables-good stuff, French film so you have to read, which might disqualify some BBBers, but a very good, funny, yet touching movie.

Saw a trailer for that before Moonrise Kingdom at the Robinson. Looks good, I'll have to check it out.

    Guardians of the Galaxy

    Top notch.

The end-credit teaser isn't worth staying for, though. Has nothing to do with any story. At least, I hope not or Marvel has a lot to worry about.
