Idaho won the Roady's H-Bowl too!

More important than the outcome of a handful of bowl games is the fact that the WAC is head and shoulders above both the lowly Belch and CUSA on the national stage. You can't even say the WAC is a few rungs above those conferences, because the WAC is on a totally different ladder!
Now, as I've said before Tech and the rest of the conference needs to step it up and follow the path that Boazy has blazed, closing the gap.
bcs $ payouts:
WAC $7.7 million
cusa 2.6 million
belch 1.5 million
bcs bowl appearances
WAC 3
cusa 0
belch 0
Idaho could have beaten the best team in the Sunbelt this year by two touchdowns!
People arguing sunbelt and WAC being on similar levels are just out of touch with reality, and in all likelihood SBC homers. MUTS was a good team for them this year ...... (crickets...).
They have little or no talent, but what they do have is Coach Akey has them BELIEVING they can win.
They have NFL talent on OL (Iupati) and their QB Enderle took his play to a new level from years past. That's some evidence that kids can suck for 2 or 3 years then come up big after gaining experience.
There's indeed a fine line there. Let's hope our now Sr. quarterback can turn the corner like Enderle next year. I didn't expect Enderle to possess the intangibles he did this year, as he never showed signs of them before. Same for Ross, maybe a light bulb goes off during the off-season and we see a different QB next fall..?
Why is this even a comparison? We need to be looking up not down.
Right- I just compare for kicks to validate our eliteness! ;-)
I think Louisiana Tech would have beaten either team that played tonite (Troy and CMU).
