Except when Eagles became head coach at Tech the style changed. If he was the true architect, as some of you claim, then we shouldn't have seen such a change in style. It would have remained the same, er, right?
I'm not getting into this Russo vs Eagles thingy. I loved 'em both. Tech MBB was very successful while both were HCs. Fact is, they had slightly different philosophies, and it showed.
The Milkman posts on here sometimes. I'd be interested in what he has to say. I know what other players have said, because I've spoken with 'em about that whole era. Bottom line is, both Russo and Eagles were good coaches....Tech won big....and I was a happy fan for many years.
"Wah. We lost a home game to Tech. I picked them to be middle of the pack before the season. We played like crap and barely lost so we really should win when we play them in Ruston.
Also anytime a college player makes a 3 from NBA range then it is lucky."
That good enough?
