    That proves nothing. The study was designed ONLY to verify what the weather stations close to large cities had recorded. It still does nothing to prove the source of the "heating." Which, BTW, is the sun!

    Now, as I've posted many, many times, I agree that mankind can mess up the micro-climate in which we live. I agree with laws and proper scientific approaches that alleviate pollution caused by man's activities. I'm not concerned about the globe! I'm concerned about the place on it where I live.

    True, but this the first time that it is because of human activities. The other times it was because of slow geologic processes.

    The point being that in a world with 7 billion people any significant rise in ocean levels will do significant damage to our invested civilization.
