there was a qb at arkansas a few years back that played football and basketball. i think he quit basketball before his senior season.

Yeah he did. But you have to say that the guy was a BEAST. Never said he wasn't STUPID.
Then there is Charlie Ward who won a NC and Heisman in football, played on a Sweet Sixteen team in basketball, was a first round NBA draft, and was also drafted twice by MLB teams. He reportedly is also a pretty decent tennis player.
Oh, and then there was that little incident with our own PJ Brown in the '97 playoffs. :icon_wink:
If TB can't beat out Doak then I think it would make sense to go with the diamond if he can start there. Maybe he stays on as a backup QB but devotes more time to baseball in that scenario.
I think he will be red shirted this year in football and won't have to make a serious commitment to either football or baseball till during his sophomore year.
That QB for Clemson plays baseball and football. Kyle Parker, I think is his name.
