    WR Corp

How do you guys figure Richie Casey fitting in? Hopefully he can stay healthy and contribute this year because I can see him playing a large part in special teams and the new implemented offense. He is one hell of an athlete.

I think that Dykes classifies them as outside receivers and inside receivers. 4 starters (2 outside, 2 inside).

    So,

    OUTSIDE
    --------
    1. Cruz 1. Molton/RP
    2. Jacarri 2. RP/Molton

    INSIDE
    ------
    1. Livas 1. Paige
    2. Fitte/Casey 2. Brown

Spence will come in when we need a TE.

Fortson and Sanders may RS but they are extremely talented.

    Just a guess.

WR should be the most improved position on the team in 2010 - lots of new faces

That TE we had committed, I think Cheshier, that de-committed after Dooley left....was also being recruited by Arizona......so my bet is we get him back in the fold

Now that we're going to the spread, I think we're going to need another 4 or 5 receivers. Remember, we'll probably be throwing the ball 60 to 70 times a game, and routinely running 5 receiver sets. Any injuries at all, and we're going to need at least 12 or 13 receivers.

I seriously doubt we throw the ball 60 to 70 times a game.

That would be fun, but I think 40+ is fine. But, I could be wrong, remember that the spread is the great equalizer and we may need alot of equalization.

Didn't casey play qb in high school? He can throw the ball a little too. I'm sure dykes is going to have some fun this spring.

Don't forget about the RBs we have. An offense, usually only gets about 60-70 plays per game. With guys like Creer in the backfield, I can't imagine that we would throw that much.

It would be nice to have an offense similar to the one we had with Crowton, but with a defense.

Hey GranPaw, What did Doak think about meeting Coach Dykes? He's got to be jazzed about the offensive possibilities.

Doak ran Dykes offense for two years in HS. He is looking forward Spring Training.
